St Johns Visit

Today we had our first aid for kids lesson. We were learning what to do if there is an emergency. We got to look at a little ambulance and they told us all about what happens if we ever need to go in one - it isn't as scary as we thought because the people are so nice.

Fe'ao and Toa got to dress up at ambulance officers and bandage Miss Long's leg and arm, we had to pretend that she had an accident. We had to be very gentle. Then we had turns bandaging each other.

We also learned that if there is an emergency we call 111 and ask for fire, ambulance or police.

We got certificates and magnets to put on the fridge at home.

  1. It looks like you are all taking great care of each other, room 4. I wonder if you all know your home address so you can tell the person on the phone if you have to ring 111. You could practise ringing 111 and reporting the emergency on the phone. from Mrs Robyns
