Maths Week: Day One
Today is the first day of maths week. Today we looked at a clown made out of different shapes, we had to count the shapes and then write how many we could find. Once we had finished we used the shapes to make our own clowns. We also figured out that if we couldn't find a rectangle shape we could put two squares next to each other.
What a great idea - shape pictures - did you know you can draw shapes in Google Drawing or Paint? I wonder if you could ask Miss Long to show you how to make a shape picture on the computer. Then we could put some up in the computer room. from Mrs Robyns
